After this long and intense election, many families will be discussing the results over their Thanksgiving Dinner. It might be a challenge for families to get along, when Uncle Rob won’t stop yelling “He’s gonna make America great again, I tell ya.”, when your little cousin is just trying to get the mashed potatoes from Aunt Sandy.
This will be a difficult time for people to come together, be respectful to other’s ideas you might disagree with, and eat a family dinner without letting the Election results disturb the tradition.
Maybe this can be a Thanksgiving for families to unite, a setting where they can communicate and catch up while enjoying a great meal. If you hear Grandpa Tom bring up how much he can’t stand “crooked Hillary,” maybe change the subject quickly by asking him how his Cowboys are playing this season.
