Liquid Bronzers? Worth the hype?

As I’ve previously said, I can not contour my face in fear of being thought of being a victim of abuse. However, I have found a new love for liquid bronzers. You’ll need a large buffing brush made of synthetic hair to blend the product into your skin to create a glow from within. The thing about liquid bronzers is that most are EXPENSIVE; the ones worth using at least are with one holy grail exception.

The first, the one that obviously costs the prettiest penny, is Soleil De Tan Chanel by CHANEL. This product, as the brand name suggests, is iconic. The velvety finish of this light cream-gel bronzer leaves your skin with a beautiful sun-bathed look. The best part about this liquid bronzer is it’s one universal shade. I haven’t found a product with a more perfect, warm shade that is perfect on a wide range of skin tones.

SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL - BRONZING MAKEUP BASE Bronzer - Chanel

A dupe for the Soleil De Tan Chanel is available at Target stores. Sonia Kashuk, a brand sold specifically at Target, has created a product that costs 80% less than CHANEL, with a product almost up to the same standard. This creamy bronzer delivers a subtly luminous finish for the most naturally sun-kissed skin you’ve ever seen. The innovative cream-to-powder formula melts into skin and delivers a buildable dose of natural translucent color, while minimizing imperfections using soft focus technology. Infused with antioxidants and Vitamin E, the anti-aging formula will perfect over time, while protecting the skin with SPF 20. The weightless cream glides easily over the skin, making the formula ideal to enhance and sculpt both the face and body for a lit-from-within glow.
