Cardinals offseason moves

After falling short of the cubs in the 2015 NLDS the St. Louis Cardinals are trying to find the right guys to get them back to the playoffs and maybe the world series. Some of the players the cardinals got rid of this winter included Center Fielder, Jon Jay. The winter began with the cardinals trading back up catcher Tony Cruz to the Kansas City Royals in return for shortstop Jose Martinez. Cardinals picked up Catcher Cody Stanley from free agency to be there backup. the same day the cardinals traded fro Jose Martinez, Center fielder Peter Bourjos was claimed by the Phillies off of waivers. Just yesterday the biggest move so far in the offseason was made trading away Jon Jay to the Padres for second baseman Jedd Gyorko.
