This NFL Offseason has been one that we will remember for years to come. There were more “power moves” across the league than we have seen in decades. With the expanding market and higher salary caps, teams are able to be more flexible with trades and free agent pick-ups. With the NFL draft featuring some future phonemes, it was the cherry on top to the end of an explosive offseason.
Some of the top offseason moves involved top running backs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews moving to the Eagles, while their former starter LeSean McCoy moved to Buffalo. The Indianapolis Colts made some drastic moves and picked up Frank Gore to solidify their backfield and Andre Johnson to add some experience to the wide out game. As a Chicago native, one of the hardest transactions was watching Brandon Marshall leave the Bears and head to the New York Jets. Marshall was one of the top wide outs last year and brings a giant presence to the game.
The update that was the most impactful on the NFL was when Adrian Peterson was reinacted as a full time player for the Minnesota Vikings, looking to begin where he left off on a tear. Many people wonder if he will be staying with the Viking leading up to the start of the regular season, due to the rambunctious acts that took place off the field, at the start of last season.
