This years’ Masters tournament turned out like no one could imagine. Jordan Spieth was the dark horse of the competition and pulled out a monumental victory for everyone to remember. Entering into the tournament, Tiger Woods seemed to be the favorite to at least make the top three places, along with Rory McIlroy.
Jordan Spieth finished the tournament 18 under par, showing the competition that he is someone to be remembered. He set a record for the youngest player to lead the Masters’ after the first round with a huge 8 under par. He continued his tear during the next two rounds by setting a record for the best score at the end of each of them. He is only a mere 21 years old and successfully won a major golf tournament against some of the best athletes in the world. Spieth looks to keep up his top notch numbers over his career, showing many of his competitors that he is a force to be reckoned with.
